Col Gray Mentoring - Animated Explainer Video
SHENNY was approached by Col Gray, a business owner and graphic designer, to assist in creating an animated explainer video for his new mentoring service.
The animated video's main objective was to inspire freelance designers to see mentoring as a key to personal growth and a solution to their business challenges, ultimately driving them to sign up for Col's services.
In close collaboration with Col, SHENNY focused on producing an engaging and relevant animation that would resonate with freelancers eager to reinvigorate their careers.
SHENNY worked with Col at every stage of the project, from conceptualisation and scriptwriting to music selection and the creation of the final animated explainer video.
The animation, designed for diverse platforms, was to be shared on social media channels like LinkedIn and Twitter to reach a broad audience of freelancers. It was also to be featured prominently on the official website, both on the homepage and a specialised mentoring page, and hosted on Col Gray's RockYourBrand YouTube channel for further outreach.
Aiming for a duration of 1:00 to 2:00 minutes, the video was crafted to captivate viewers and deliver the message effectively.

The Animatic
Once the script and voiceover were finalized, we developed an animatic to establish the narrative and overall vision for the animation. This step proved essential in reducing the need for revisions during the animation phase, thereby saving time and resources.
Following approval of the animatic, we progressed to defining the visual style and then moved on to crafting the final animation.
