The end result was a suite of direct response motion design video ads, created across multiple concepts, lengths and formats for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.

Can you give a brief introduction to you and your company?

I’m Joe Pascoe, Chief Marketing Officer at Victorian Plumbing.

Victorian Plumbing is the UK’s largest and most recognisable bathroom retailer. We’re an online first business based in Liverpool, and we’ve built our reputation on stylish, well designed bathrooms and accessories at unbeatable value.

Our mission is to make beautiful, quality bathrooms accessible to every home in the country.

What are your main products or services?

We’re best known for bathroom suites, taps, showers and accessories, both branded and our own in-house lines. But our range goes much further, including an extensive collection of tiles and flooring, which is a category we’ve been actively growing as a strategic priority.

The Challenge: Repositioning Tiles for Every Room

What were your primary goals or challenges before engaging SHENNY’s video services?

Our main challenge was perception. Customers know us for bathrooms, but they don’t always realise how broad our range is, particularly our tiles, which work beautifully in kitchens, hallways and living spaces, not just bathrooms.

What specific problem were you hoping to solve with video?

We wanted to communicate one clear message: we offer far more than just bathroom tiles. We needed to broaden that perception while staying unmistakably on brand, and do it in a way that felt native and cut through on fast moving platforms like YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.

We also wanted two angles. One celebrating the beauty of the range, and one emphasising how easy it is to get tiles delivered.

What particular metrics did you aim to improve?

Our objectives were to:

  • Reposition tiles as a category for the whole home, not just the bathroom.

  • Build a cohesive, instantly recognisable suite of ads that reinforced our brand.

  • Support the continued growth of our Tiles & Flooring department.

  • Improve marketing efficiency through high quality, reusable creative built for multiple formats and durations.

The Solution: A Multi-Format Motion Design Ad Campaign

What was the scope of the video project?

SHENNY created three core ad concepts, each with two voiceover variants. A ‘Range’ version highlighting the tiles’ beauty, and an ‘Availability’ version emphasising ease of delivery.

Every concept was adapted into 6”, 15” and 20” edits, in 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1 formats for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.

SHENNY handled the full production process end to end. Scripting, voiceover casting and recording, style frames, storyboarding, animation, music, sound design and final mix.

Why did you choose this specific type of video content?

Short form motion graphic design gave us flexibility and impact in equal measure. Animation let us make the most of our high resolution tile photography, bring real energy to the screen, and weave in our brand colours and iconic sonic jingle so the ads were instantly ours.

The multi-format, multi-length approach meant one set of concepts could work natively everywhere our customers spend their time, rather than forcing a single edit to fit every channel.

The clearest return is efficiency. Producing three concepts as a full matrix of lengths and aspect ratios in a single production cycle gave us a complete cross platform campaign from one coordinated effort, far more cost-effective than commissioning separate creative per channel.
